As the title suggests, this painting is a view of the Green Mountains, born from careful study of their colors in late afternoon. The composition focuses on those colors that might be found both in the fields below and the clouds above, once again seeking to dwell in the liminal space between.
 
This piece is part of the series “Of September.” In the colder days, when things are a bit more difficult, the memory of September keeps us going when we need it most. All original works in the series include some hand-made pigment from goldenrod plants which were harvested at the height of their bloom. The paintings in this series serve as a reminder of nature's most bountiful and generous season.

I have done my best to represent all artworks accurately. There is an additional handling time of 10-14 days for all prints, as they are made especially for you. All fine art prints are signed, stamped, and titled individually by the artist.
