Art on the Trails Recap

"how did it go?" they asked.

it rained, and it was thrilling. Fine art in a forest, in the rain. the moss sparkled. the establishment wept. No art was harmed in the making of this event...we pulled it off in a big way. 25 original paintings along a half mile trail loop!

Thank you to all who showed up from near and far, on purpose and by accident. It takes a tremendous amount of effort to make this happen, and I couldn't have done it without support. I want to thank especially Mark and Brooke, Celi and Carrie, Joe and my babies. My mom, who answers my calls and weird technical questions about mediums and framing. And every single one of you who SHOWED UP, in the mud, with words of encouragement and because you wanted to feel something new and different. I love your gifts of time. I love your nature facts. I love hearing your stories. These moments take root in my heart and give me strength and so much inspiration.

And for those too far...the painting series will drop online soon. I am focusing on my family and wrapping up the event (and sending off sold paintings!). I'll be in touch again soon about details!! until then...happy trails!!
