This painting was created as part of the "Mud Season" Collection. Inspired by walks in the woods and the hardest parts of the journey, this collection helps me to remember that difficult roads lead to beautiful views. 
 
This piece, like 'Means Woods No.1,' was conceived on a clear crisp day in which the colors of the sky and green of the pines dominated the winter landscape. Offering a subtle take on the same experience, this painting integrates earth pigment throughout, as bolder colors combine with gentle variations of cool and warm whites reminiscent of melting snow.
