Ghost Pipe, a chlorophyll-less plant, often grows in bunches on the forest floor. Some say that the spots where this plant grows mark places where friends once quarreled. The discovery of such a plant is a sign that we should seek out and repair relationships that may be in need of mending. In this composition, the blooms of these ghostly flowers and the space around them is reversed, creating an explosion of color.
