‘Sumac No.1’
fine art print, goldenrod
16x16
The bold washes of pigment overlap and intertwin in an almost endless constellation of color. The image takes its name from sumac plants, which produce bright red fuzzy “berries” in late summer and bright red leaves in late fall. These berries serve as an important food source for native wildlife through the winter. The painting too, invites the viewer to feast on rich color, even as winter approaches.
This framed limited-edition, hand-embellished fine art print is one of twenty—each one uniquely hand-embellished with the natural botanical pigments (flowers, berries, and leaves) that inspired the original works. Each is hand-finished with botanical ink or watercolor, signed by the artist, titled and numbered. Arrives in a frame and ready to bring life to your space.
Please consider measurements carefully before purchase and take the time to view colors on different monitors, as colors may appear different on different devices. I have done my best to represent all artworks accurately.
